A return to slow living, rooted in community, based in Aurora, IL.
Tucked away in quaint Aurora, Illinois lies a historic anomaly; a countryside Spanish-colonial estate designed by Myron Hunt and C.H. Chambers nestled on 20 acres of farmable land. Before the ink was dry on the sale agreement, the new owners of the property approached me to create a thoughtful brand identity that unified the rich culture of the existing buildings with their goal of turning the property into a working farm and event venue. What started as a rough outline for the property’s eventual existence took me on a journey through the history of the architecture rooted in Spanish-colonial design and its authentically romantic nature.
Several iterations based off Feast Farms founding partner were illustrated by hand to properly convey the Spanish heritage of both the farm and its ownership.
